Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM2:00 PM or 7:00 AM3:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with a strong background in Histology to join our laboratory team. The technologist will perform testing prepare and process specimens and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support within Histology including specimen preparation and analysis.
Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently following established protocols.
Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
Document and report test results in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to support workflow and turnaround time.
Adhere to safety and infection-control procedures in all laboratory activities.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Associates Degree from an accredited laboratory technology program.
Licensure: Valid New York State license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) with Primary Source Verification.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year working as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Specialty: Histology background required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
BLS Certification.
