The Manager Virtual Advice will lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout their team todeepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge.

In this role you will:

    • Lead and develop a virtual sales team to build long-term customer relationships andcoach Virtual Advisors to identify customer-centric solutions in a remote advice model.
    • Assess team sales and performance results and enhance team performance.
    • Contribute to the achievement of the highest rating in NPS among customers of all themajor banks in Canada.
    • Identify opportunities to drive sales results for the virtual advice teams
    • Manage and minimize risk by implementing the Banks policies and proceduresconsidering risk appetite and culture in daily activities.
    • Create an efficient and effective team environment that aligns with Scotiabanks Values
    • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Global Sales Principles ensuring compliance with operational regulatory and risk management standards.
    • Create a high-performance team environment by fostering inclusivity using a coachingmindset and managing succession and development planning.
    • Assist with the development and refinement of the virtual advice model to generateincremental business client and Advisor value

What you have:

    • Expert knowledge in virtual sales challenges and best practices
    • Expert knowledge of sales management activities and techniques including executionof the Branch Management Disciplines.
    • Sound understanding of the marketplace in which branches operate.
    • Thorough knowledge of Retail and Small Business products and services including aworking knowledge of systems routines and operating procedures.
    • Thorough knowledge of interviewing solicitation and telemarketing techniques.
    • Thorough knowledge of negotiating techniques.
    • Thorough knowledge of Branch systems (e.g. Intralink Sales Builder RegionalInformation System (RIS) Worklist etc.);
    • Thorough knowledge of credit risk/adjudication policies and processes.
    • Experience in people leading and performance management.
    • Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance related to Privacy Anti-MoneyLaundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing FCAC FATCA Know Your Customer requirementsCDIC and Occupational Health & Safety
    • Thorough knowledge of Mutual Funds Compliance Officer responsibilities processesand guidelines.
