As Head of Internal Audit you will have overall responsibility for leading and developing Vattenfalls internal audit function including The Whistleblowing function. You will ensure that audits are conducted independently and objectively and that operations are reviewed in a way that creates value and strengthens trust in the organisation.
You will design and implement a risk-based audit plan and evaluate the organisations internal governance risk management and control environment. The role includes presenting clear and constructive Audit reports including action plans and recommendations to senior management as well as the Board and following up to ensure that actions are implemented.
You will act as a key link between the Board/Audit Committee executive management and operational management. You report directly to the Board and Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO for Vattenfall. You will also collaborate with external auditors and other control and compliance functions.
Your responsibilities include promoting a strong culture of transparency accountability and ethics and providing advisory support on matters related to risk governance and internal control. You will also be responsible for quality assurance and the continuous development of internal audit practices in line with international standards.
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role you are likely to hold a degree in business or economics and have substantial leadership experience within an internal audit function ideally in a complex and international organisation.
You are known for your high level of integrity your ability to see the bigger picture and your genuine desire to help others succeed. You possess strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.

You are fluent in English and a strong command of Swedish will be beneficial.
