Job Objective
The Feedmill Engineer I (Premix Technician) ensures the efficient operation of the micro-dosing units and manages the computerized batching of premixes and traceability of executed production. Calculate the micro-ingredients consumption and premixes production. Manage the formulas products scales and production batches in batching software SCADA. The position is also responsible for the basic preventive maintenance of micro-dosing units calibration of the weights and setting up the values of each ingredient.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Micro Bin Management
Coordinates with Production Supervisor on the sequence of premixes to be produced ensuring availability of micro ingredients in each bin or silo.
Calculate premix production and micro ingredients consumption based on the production request.
Monitor the usage of raw materials in production and manage stock loads and unloads of each micro bin.
Ensures that no intermixing spillovers or overflowing occurs during the filling or loading of the micro-ingredients bin.
Transaction Scheduling/Operation
A. Batching and mixing operation
Coordinates with the Production Supervisor/CRO regarding the formula version of mixes of micro components to be produced.
Ensure the correct formulation version is selected when the Control Room Operator conducts the batching transaction.
Checks and coordinates with QA personnel for possible adjustment in the micro infusion and dosing to ensure that premix is in accordance with required dosing parameters.
Ensures that the sequence of mixing is being followed based on the production schedule.
B. Equipment Operation
Be familiar with machines such as dosing units vacuum transport mixing and various components
Monitors cycle time of weighing and mixing to ensure a high batching efficiency.
Performs regular weigh checks conducts regular calibration and preventive maintenance to micro dosing units and equipment in coordination with the CMD personnel managing the feed mill plant preventive maintenance and calibration program.
Monitors micro-dosing equipment and provides feedback to maintenance personnel regarding any abnormalities and alarming equipment conditions.
Reports Preparation
Prepares the shift report and submits it to the Production Supervisor.
Other Duties
Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned by his superior.
General Tasks
1. Performs jobs other than the current assignment under the following situations:
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is on leave.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is out of the work area due to other assignments such as official business trips fieldwork special projects attending seminars or training.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is assigned to do jobs of higher priority.
2. Complies any or all of the following as may be assigned or required:
Be a core group member in any of the companys Integrated Programs
Be a member of QIT within the department and may be requested to be a member in a cross-functional project team.
3. Actively participates in company programs and during meetings and discussions and come up with suggestions for improvement in the areas of quality efficiency productivity security and safety sanitation and food safety environment waste reduction sustainability social responsibility and risk management.
4. Takes an active role in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as ISO 5S/GMP/HACCP and Halal.
5. Performs other related tasks as may be directed by the Immediate Team Leader or Department Head.
FOOD SAFETY:
Complies with quality Halal health and food safety policy standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal food safety & quality management systems to identified authorities.
OTHER TASKS:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement safety & security sustainability corporate social responsibility risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications :
Education:
BS degree in Mechanical Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering or BS in Industrial Automation & Mechatronics
Experience:
Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
