Job Summary
About the Role:
As an Operator you will play a crucial role in operating our equipment for the processing of medical and biosecurity waste in a safe and responsible manner. With full thorough training provided this will include a buddy system to ensure safety and confidence within the workplace.
Qualifications :
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and operating bin lifters and conveyors
- Operating the Rotoclave steam sterilising units
- Unloading the sterilising units
- Foam washing and lining of bins.
- Movement of wheeled bins around the plant (up to 200kg)
- Some lifting of containers up to 20kgs
- Palletising of export waste
- Some forklift work.
Skills/Requirements:
- A great can-do attitude and willingness to learn. (All training will be provided)
- Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills
