Job Summary
Anticipated Hours / Contract Duration: 7-month contract with potential to extend
Location: Open to Amsterdam Netherlands or Zurich Switzerland
Work set up: Hybrid
Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead all aspects of marketing strategy and execution. This role is responsible for positioning content events PR website management and later employer branding. The Head of Marketing will translate company strategy into clear compelling messaging that resonates with doctors engineers and other stakeholders while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with founders sales and research teams to bring clarity to complex products and establish credibility within the healthcare industry.
What you will do:
- Lead and grow the marketing function managing a team across content events operations and design.
- Translate company strategy into actionable marketing plans that drive business impact.
- Develop and implement positioning and messaging that clarify complex healthcare AI products.
- Oversee execution of content PR events and digital marketing campaigns.
- Partner with research teams to explain technical concepts in accessible and credible ways.
- Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business needs.
- Establish marketing processes operations and structures that scale with company growth.
- Drive measurable business outcomes through effective marketing strategies.
Qualifications :
The qualifications you will need:
- 68 years of experience leading marketing teams within B2B organizations.
- Proven expertise in healthcare AI with strong knowledge of foundation models RL environments and agentic systems.
- Experience building and scaling marketing teams from the ground up (510 people).
- Strong background in positioning complex products for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record in managing content events PR and digital marketing.
- Ability to convert strategy into clear action plans and deliver results.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- High adaptability ownership and comfort working in complex healthcare environments.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in the European market.
- Knowledge of medical regulations.
- Proficiency in Dutch or German.
- Prior experience in scaling startups.
