You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAssist the doctor in patient care including vital signs monitoring medication administration and wound care. Support implementation of IPC practices especially in high-risk or crowded field/camp settings.
Prepare and manage medical supplies and ensure readiness of mobile equipment.
Participate in health education sessions by delivering messages on hygiene nutrition or chronic care.
Assist in the sorting and distribution of non-food items (NFIs) hygiene kits or medical aid to patients.
Collect and document patient data accurately for monitoring and evaluation.
Provide basic mental health and psychosocial support or first aid as necessary.
Qualifications :
Diploma or certificate in nursing community health or a related healthcare discipline is a preferred but not a must.
At least 12 years of experience in a clinical or community health setting; prior experience in humanitarian work or mobile outreach is an advantage.
Basic training in IPC first aid or psychosocial support is highly desirable.
Familiarity with standard patient care protocols and basic medication administration.
Willingness to work in field settings and under flexible or emergency schedules.
Core Competencies
Basic clinical skills including vital signs monitoring wound care and medication administration.
Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) especially for field-based or high1risk environments.
Organizational skills for supply preparation mobile clinic setup and logistical readiness.
Clear and empathetic communication for patient interaction and public health messaging.
Data collection and documentation abilities to support monitoring and reporting needs.
Basic mental health support and first aid skills for frontline humanitarian settings.
Teamwork and adaptability especially in mobile or emergency environments.
Deliverables:
Accurate and complete documentation of consultations treatments referrals and follow-up cases submitted after each outreach activity.
Ensure mobile medical kits are fully stocked maintained and ready before each deployment.
Document participation in health education sessions including topics delivered audience reached and materials used.
Record instances of basic psychosocial support or emergency care provided in the field.
Document the assistance provided during distribution events including quantities distributed and patients supported.
