Job Summary
SEEKING: DB2 z/OS Mainframe
We are looking for a DB2 z/OS Mainframe expert.
DBA RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :
Structure maintenance:
create new tables/indexes in the Development environment.
add/modify columns in Development environment tables.
create/modify indexes in the Development environment.
transfer the structural changes to the rest of the environments: user test pre-production and production after 23:45...
User support.
Collaborate in the design of tables and indexes.
locks on DB2 tables.
ASUTIME on expensive queries.
Maximum number of locked pages in DB2 (Reason code: 00C90069).
DB2 statement audits (exception maintenance).
Automatic data updates in DB2 every 30 minutes (DBACTUK3).
Schedule massive UPDATEs/DELETES/INSERTs locking the table.
Users revoked in RACF.
Authorize users in reading to the views of the Production environment.
Resolve SQLCODE-805 due to the fact that the version of the executable and the version of the package do not match.
Refresh of Stored Procedures.
Review/modify/interpret VALIDPROCs in Assembler language.
Recover a table from a copy of a previous day.
Resolve errors in queries that give an error.
Collaborate in the construction/solution of complicated queries.
Generate reports to managers.
Management (administration):
Recover a table from a copy of a previous day.
Modify tables to replicate to Kafka/PosgreSQL.
Monitoring with Mainview for DB2 and with Apptune.
Relaunch processes planned in CONTROL-M after solving the error and relaunching from a certain step.
Review Automatic Administration executed on last weekend.
Apply Maintenance (and version changes) to DB2 QMF and BMC Products for DB2.
