Job Summary
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams.
- Review and approve engineering designs specifications and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Assist in planning scheduling and executing engineering projects.
- Monitor project progress identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers providing guidance training and performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Recruit and hire talented engineering professionals.
- Develop and manage engineering budgets ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product and service excellence.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and safety guidelines.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with other departments such as manufacturing operations and sales to achieve organizational goals.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and partners
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Civil) or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Several years of experience in engineering roles including project management and team leadership.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
- A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
