The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to create and make delicious meals for one of our clients. The ideal candidate is efficient organized thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining excellence in every dish they create.
Salary: 60.000 XFA (negotiable)
Location: Yaounde (Omnisport Essos Ngousso)
Must be an anglophone or well versed with English
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare healthy and delicious meals and serve them
- Do the grocery shopping for ingredients and make sure they are good healthy ones
- Operate and manage the kitchen and all necessary related matters with the kitchen
- Ensure that food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including all equipment and surfaces.
- Stock and manage inventory notifying when supplies are low.
Requirements:
- 2 years proven experience as a Cook Line Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen or Company.
- Understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge in diverse cooking cultures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Education: Min Ordinary level
