The Country Director will lead the companys Africa s operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo ensuring strategic alignment with the organization s mission to positively impact lives through access to renewable energy and logistics solutions. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence commercial growth stakeholder engagement financial sustainability and team leadership across the companys hub.
Strategic Leadership & Expansion
- Develop and execute country-level strategies aligned with the company s regional goals and E-IMPACT values.
- Lead operations in Lubumbashi Likasi and Kolwezi and spearhead expansion into new territories across the DRC.
- Conduct market assessments and feasibility studies to guide regional growth.
- Represent the company in national and regional forums advocating for energy access and logistics innovation.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee the implementation of PAYGO solar systems and productive-use appliances.
- Manage the company s logistics network ensuring efficient last-mile delivery and inventory control.
- Optimize supply chain operations fleet management and warehouse performance.
- Ensure compliance with the company s energy and logistics regulations.
Sales & Commercial Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of national sales strategies for energy products and logistics services.
- Drive revenue growth through market expansion strategic partnerships and customer acquisition.
- Set and monitor KPIs for sales teams agents and regional managers.
- Oversee customer experience initiatives and retention strategies.
Financial & Risk Management
- Manage country budgets financial reporting and cost controls.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to fraud asset loss and operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure financial sustainability and transparency in all commercial activities.
People & Culture
- Lead a diverse team of full-time staff and field agents across the companys DRC operations.
- Foster a high-performance culture rooted in the company s E-IMPACT values.
- Address retention challenges promote integrity and build leadership capacity.
- Champion professional development and ethical leadership.

- Experience with PAYGO models last-mile delivery and digital platforms is a plus.
