Job Description

Eurofins Experchem Laboratories Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Reviewer to join our team in Toronto this role you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of laboratory data supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality analytical services to our clients.

  • Review and validate laboratory data for accuracy completeness and compliance with protocols SOPs GMP and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify and investigate data discrepancies anomalies or trends and propose/carry out corrective actions as needed.

  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel and liaise with other departments to resolve data-related issues verify appropriate methods and specifications and improve overall data quality.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all data review processes investigations and findings.

  • Perform data review and approval for method validation method verification and method transfer projects; organize and finalize validation packages for clients.

  • Review and approve calibration preventive maintenance data and Instrument/Equipment Qualification protocols and reports.

  • Ensure timely completion of corrections and prompt data release.

  • Verify that all results are within specification; notify appropriate parties of any out-of-specification (OOS) results and apply sound judgment during investigations.

  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively ensuring method compliance or appropriate method modifications.

  • Apply and enforce data integrity procedures and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and GMP regulations.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing data review findings and recommendations.

  • Support the development and implementation of improved data review procedures and quality control measures.

  • Participate in internal and external audits related to data integrity and quality assurance.

  • Act as delegate for the Supervisor in sending results to clients when required.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards regulatory requirements and best practices in data management and quality control.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology or a related scientific field.

  • Proven experience in data review or quality assurance (QA) within a laboratory setting.

  • Previous experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and a solid understanding of laboratory processes analytical methods and instrumentation.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical software such as Excel SPSS R or SAS.

  • Exceptional computer skills particularly with MS Office (Outlook Word Excel).

  • Excellent attention to detail high level of accuracy and strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a collaborative team-based environment.

  • High level of professionalism maturity sound judgment and discretion especially when handling confidential information.

  • Proactive self-disciplined and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity.

  • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record.

  • Willingness to learn quickly and apply new knowledge across different scenarios.

  • Relevant certifications in data analysis or quality control (preferred).
