Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a residence located in Toronto. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residences on the property a main and a guest house. Rooms to be cleaned alternate each day. This position is part-time 16-24 hours per week live-out. Flexible schedule is required for this position.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced and knowledgeable housekeeping professional with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You communicate well and are comfortable working independently. You understand a home is a living environment not just a workplace and can easily adjust your daily schedule to accommodate activities in the residence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily housekeeping to include making beds dusting vacuumingmopping kitchen and bathroom cleaning
Maintain household inventory of cleaning supplies creating shopping lists
Full laundry cycle including linens towels and clothing and bed preparation
Trash and recycling management
Cleaning outdoor furniture
Weekly clean of patio furniture
Ensure household security protocols are followed
Answering the door receive packages
Sort and dispose of recycling compost and garbage correctly
Other duties may be required including small errands outside the house

Applicant Qualities:

Excellent English communication skills and professional personal presentation
Detail oriented
Must be comfortable lifting 30 pounds
Excellent housekeeping laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
Must maintain privacy and confidentiality always exercising diplomacy discretion and respecting appropriate boundaries
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
