Our Outside School Hours Care service St Maria Gorettis OSHClub is looking for a passionate Permanent Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering a minimum of 15 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).
You will work across the services Before School Care ) Rise Then Shine) shifts of Monday to Friday 6:45am to 845am and the services After School Care (Stay and Play Program) shifts of Monday Friday 2:15pm 5:15pm. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!
About the Role
Working alongside a supportive team youll help create a welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 5-12 years old. Your role will include:
Facilitating exciting child-led activities including STEM sports cooking arts & crafts whatever you and the kids love!
Building strong relationships with children families and the school community
Collaborating with a team of skilled Educators to ensure a safe fun and engaging program
Youll work split shifts Monday Friday across the services opening hours of:
Morning: 6:30am 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program)
Afternoon: 2:45pm 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program)
School Holidays: 6:00am 6:00pm (Holiday HQ Program)
Who Were Looking For
No formal experience No problem! Well provide all the training you need. Were looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
Communicates clearly and confidently
Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
Must have obtained or are studying towards a relevant Diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
Has Australian work rights
