DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage (inpatient ICU OR and limited clinic)

Manage 10 patients daily (admissions ICU rounding surgical cases)

Harvest vein and first assist surgeon on open-heart cases

Perform suturing and manage pre- and post-operative surgical care

Take variable call (5% weekdays 75% weekends)

Collaborate with attending physicians APPs and support staff to ensure continuity of care
