Role Summary
The Creative Design Intern is responsible for conceptualizing designing and executing high-impact visual content that aligns with the organizations brand identity and strategic objectives. This role requires a mix of creativity technical expertise and strategic thinking ensuring consistency across digital print and multimedia platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative portfolio mastery of design tools and the ability to lead design initiatives from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop full brand packages including but not limited to brand identity theme language culture and story.
- Maintain and evolve the organizations brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create compelling designs for social media stationery marketing materials and other purposes.
Content Creation & Campaigns
- Design and execute creative content for online and offline channels.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars and campaigns.
- Craft engaging and interactive content for various audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams external designers content writers and marketers to produce impactful visuals.
Media & Communication
- Develop PR communication and media plans and oversee their execution.
- Create brand awareness plans for both online and offline environments.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and new media platforms.
Design Execution & Technical Expertise
- Produce work demonstrating advanced skills in:
- Graphic Design UI/UX Design Motion Graphics Presentation Design Multimedia Design
- Video Production (shooting lighting editing) Photography Photo Editing/Retouching
- Sound Editing Storyboarding Copywriting Content Strategy
- Coordinate with vendors for printing publishing and production needs.
Project & Quality Management
- Present ideas mockups and drafts for feedback and approval.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Track design project timelines progress and performance metrics providing regular updates to management.
- Maintain organized archives of design assets for internal use.
Collaboration & Support
- Provide creative guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Support other departments and projects as needed.
- Work closely with marketing communications and operations teams to ensure visual alignment across all initiatives.
Flexibility & Commitment
- Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Provide support to team members as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
- Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate after-hours work weekends work or travel requirements when required.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts Multimedia Marketing or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) Figma or Canva etc..
- Strong sense of creativity typography and layout design.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation is a plus.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take feedback.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
- Portfolio or samples of design work (academic freelance or personal projects) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Arabic/English.
