We are seeking a dynamic and creative Media & Communications Officer to join our team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our communications department you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our organizations visibility and reputation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive media and communication strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Create engaging content for various platforms including press releases social media posts and website articles
- Manage and grow the organizations social media presence across multiple platforms
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and create compelling stories about our initiatives and achievements
- Plan and execute media events press conferences and interviews
- Monitor media coverage and analyze communication effectiveness using data-driven approaches
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials and infographics
- Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in media communications or public relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Strong proficiency in social media management and content creation
- Experience in public relations and media relations
- Solid understanding of the media landscape in Qatar and the Middle East region
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports on communication effectiveness
- Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
