Role: Business Development Executive (Fresher) On-site India

About the Opportunity
This entry-level sales role is ideal for motivated freshers who want to build a high-growth career in business development client acquisition and account management. You will join a performance-driven team that converts leads into revenue through consultative outreach qualification and relationship-building across domestic enterprise and SMB clients.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate and qualify leads via cold calling email outreach LinkedIn and networking to build a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs articulate service offerings and position tailored solutions to decision-makers.
  • Maintain and update CRM records (leads opportunities activities) to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and forecastability.
  • Collaborate with delivery and recruitment teams to coordinate proposals pricing and resource availability for client pitches.
  • Drive follow-ups negotiate terms and close initial contracts under guidance hand off to account/delivery teams for onboarding.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets; track key metrics and continuously improve outreach scripts and qualification approaches.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor s degree in business marketing commerce or related field (freshers welcome).
  • Excellent spoken and written English; strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and direct client outreach; resilient and target-oriented.
  • Basic familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce Zoho HubSpot) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with MS Office Excel for tracking leads and PowerPoint for client presentations.

Preferred

  • Internship or project experience in sales customer service or campus placements.
  • Knowledge of IT services staffing models or B2B procurement cycles.
