Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our friendly team in Northwich United Kingdom. As a Care Professional you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care and support in their homes and within the local community.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene dressing and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities within Northwich and surrounding areas
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients health conditions
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients conditions
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations to promote mental well-being
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
- Work flexibly across various shift patterns including mornings evenings and weekends
- Requirement to work alternative weekends
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
- Excellent reliability professionalism and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
- Empathetic and patient nature with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for travel within Northwich
- Basic first aid knowledge (preferred but not required as training will be provided)
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clients individual needs and preferences
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance
- Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in care settings
