Job Description
Syngenta seeks a collaborative leader to guide the digital transformation of our global manufacturing network spanning 40 countries. As Data Digital and OT Head within Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) you will work with your team to advance initiatives through three critical streams: Digital Industrialization Data Integration & Analytics and OT Integration.
This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to transform how Syngenta manufactures products that feed the world while advancing environmental sustainability.
We welcome candidates with experience in digital transformation understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations experience in global initiatives collaborative partnership capabilities and strong leadership skills.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for manufacturing and engineering balancing global standardization with local needs.
- Guide diverse global teams across digital data and OT domains fostering innovation and digital capabilities.
- Leverage AI IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Pioneer next-generation manufacturing solutions.
- Oversee significant investments allocate resources strategically and coordinate cross-functional digital initiatives.
- Support organizational change digital adoption and cultural transformation.
- Establish governance frameworks KPIs and ensure security and compliance in all digital initiatives.
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels aligning global strategy with local implementation.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and required experience
- MS/BS in Industrial Engineering or Chemical sciences or equivalent technical degree.
- Experience in digital transformation within manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing multi-site technology programs.
- Background in manufacturing operations engineering and digital solutions.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Skills in project management change management and stakeholder engagement.

The role is based in our Global Operations Centre in Didsbury near Manchester. The site is a local hub for worldwide operations ensuring growers globally have access to the right product at the right time. You will find a dynamic and agile working environment with a diverse and inclusive culture.
