Were recruiting for a Finance Revenue Manager to join us on a 12-month FTC basis.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals in controlling monitoring and reporting revenue for LGIM LGIM America and LGIMs collective investment schemes including its Unit Trusts OEICS SICAVs QIFs and Property. You will ensure that income is accounted for accurately in each relevant companys books with appropriate accruals and journals being posted to ensure continuing compliance with applicable accounting standards.
What youll be doing:
- Maintaining and developing controls and processes to ensure that all income-related transactions (including management charges performance fees commissions rebates and intercompany investment management fees) are calculated and recorded accurately and where necessary settled effectively
- Overseeing the production and review of bespoke rebate calculations ensuring that a robust control framework is maintained to support the preparation of accurate calculations in line with contractual terms
- Managing the provision of timely accurate and informative management reporting to internal customers and stakeholders relating to income providing insight around emerging trends to facilitate optimal business performance
- Liaising with Business Partners and other key stakeholders to understand business changes to ensure the correct revenue is accounted for
- Overseeing relationships with Client Account Managers to resolve any billing issues and collect unpaid debts
- Supporting the Senior Finance Manager with any new responsibilities that may emerge
- Liaising with external auditors during the year-end audit process
- Ensuring that procedure manuals are kept up to date and accurately reflect current processes
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Qualified or experienced accountant with post-qualification experience in a finance or control environment
- Understanding of EU UK and other regulations impacting LGIMs product set and business
- Understanding of LGIMs strategy key divisions business functions and product set including awareness of product features characteristics purpose and profit dynamics
- Understanding and application of relevant accounting standards and ability to interpret and apply L&G Group Policies and Procedures
- Understanding of L&Gs risk management philosophy and ability to support LGIM in delivering an effective financial control environment
- Ability to use Excel to analyse financial information
- Ability to prioritise plan and organise multi-task/multi-person assignments
- Ability to recognise and develop talent motivate others delegate effectively and communicate organisational goals and objectives
