Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Additional theatre/operating room qualification (post-basic qualification or relevant short course).
- Minimum of 23 years experience as a Theatre Scrub Nurse in a multi-disciplinary operating theatre (general orthopaedic cardiac neurology etc.).
- Sound knowledge of infection control standards and surgical procedures.
