Job Summary
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Winding Design Engineer to design and optimize transformer windings that meet performance efficiency and reliability requirements while ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design transformer windings using advanced techniques and tools.
- Perform electrical thermal and mechanical calculations.
- Select appropriate conductors and insulation materials.
- Develop detailed drawings BOMs and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for transformer integration.
- Support prototype builds trials and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
- 610 years of experience in power transformer winding design.
- Strong knowledge of transformer principles short-circuit withstand and insulation design.
Proficiency in CAD/design tools (AutoCAD NX Inventor etc.).
