None/Not RequiredThe Materials Associate III is responsible for Inventory and/or Shipping and Receiving in our Salt Lake City UT facility. Performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control stockroom kitting expediting and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. This position is 100% onsite.
1st ShiftSchedule
This position is for 1stshift on a 9/80 schedule
Monday Friday 7:00AM 4:00PM with every other Friday off
Overtime available on a business need basis.
What You Will Do
You will perform material handling in the shipping and receiving area.
You will receive daily incoming shipments and segregate into production/service locations
You will load and unload trucks
You will lead staging for large kitting efforts and shipments
You will coordinate tracking activities
You will project - Packing Shipping and Tracking
You will perform Problem PO Resolution Reporting
You will be familiar with Warehouse and Dock Flow - 5S
You will utilize Lead Core/Lean initiatives
You will receive check store issue and ship a variety of items and maintain inventory control.
You will use assistance and/or powered mechanical means (including forklifts and high bay vehicles) to load unload store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
You will prepare and package small and large parts including electronics using proper procedures and materials.
You will process purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.
You will use computer hardware/software.
You will perform operator preventative maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance.
You will use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
You will keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
You will perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function
You will pack materials and completed shipment documents for outgoing shipments for both internal and external customers.
You will lift up to 25 pounds unassisted with or without a reasonable accommodation
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
2-3 years of dock experience
2-3 years of ERP experience
Previous experience using Microsoft Excel
