Fisher College a private 4-year institution located in the Back Bay district of Boston is seeking one (01) adjunct instructor to teach an English I class for the Spring 2026 semester. The EN101 English I course it will be taught from January 12 2026 through May 8 2026 (no Winter or Spring Break). Classes will take place on Thursday 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM- 3:30 PM. All classes are in-person Additional time is required for training course prep grading and student communications.
Overview and Responsibilities:
This first-year course is a skills-based introduction to critical reading writing and critical thinking. Through interdisciplinary reading assignments in-class work and a series of papers students will develop an approach to analyzing and responding to ideas presented in class in writing and addition students will develop their research techniques and their ability to understand the mechanics of writing including punctuation grammar and spelling.
