Job Summary

Food for Development(FfD) is the unit that coordinates and makes available the groups extensive knowledge and experience in school feeding and nutrition programmes linked to agricultural and dairy development programmes that we have gathered over the years.
We support our customers and work in collaboration with governments NGOs UN and International Development Agencies to develop and implement school milk and school feeding programmes linked to local agricultural development. More than 84500 smallholder farmers involved in our Dairy Hub projects have delivered milk to our customers. Meanwhile 66 million children in 49 countries receive milk or other nutritious beverages in Tetra Pak packages in schools.
The preferred position location is Stockholm Sweden. Other host locations could be taken into consideration. You will report to the Vice President for Food for Development. You will work in a global arena and will travel up to 40% of your time.
What you will do
- Identify new potential partners and develop partnerships with Governments NGOs UN and International Development Aid Agencies Development Banks and others in support of school feeding social feeding and emergency relief and other nutrition programmes
- Support our customers and colleagues to (1) develop new business and grow existing participation in school feeding social and nutrition programmes and (2) link small holder farmers to customers through value chain development projects including Dairy Hubs and value chain projects linking smallholder farmers to customers
- Drive projects from project development and proposal writing stage to implementation assessment and follow-up with the partners in question
- Make sure projects help Tetra Pak and its customers to grow together while creating good relations with governments local communities and consumers promoting a positive image of Tetra Pak
- Provide technical assistance for the implementation of feeding programmes using Tetra Pak products including training of school feeding management and school staff in feeding programme best practices
- Coordinate Food for Development activities with customers and relevant stakeholders supporting the markets.
We believe you have
- A University Degree
- At least 7 years of experience working with government UN and International Development Aid Agencies NGOs and other public or non-private entities
- Extensive knowledge of sustainable development and experience working with stakeholders in the area of food security and nutrition.
- Experience with public-partnership development and writing proposals funding allocation to projects
- Experience from providing technical assistance and/or training to communities in developing countries on school/nutritious programmes
- Commercial and Business Development experience is an advantage
- An excellent command of English both oral and written is required
- Very good presentation and communications skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Were looking for someone who enjoys collaboration but can work independently with confidence. Youll have a solid track record of managing projects involving stakeholders and you know how to build and maintain meaningful relationships with government bodies NGOs and international agencies. A positive proactive attitude and effective communication and presentation skills are key to succeeding in this role.
