Job Summary

Join the Stanly Ranch team as our Engineering Supervisor a  role that will allow you to lead and train engineering team members in all technical and non-technical areas.  This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

  • Guide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.

  • Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members guests and vendors.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems laundry equipment kitchen equipment water and wastewater carpentry tile plumbing painting and minor automotive repairs.

  • Assume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence. 

  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system water system sewage system and irrigation system

  • Respond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner

  • Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations

  • Follow established safety procedures

  • Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs

  • The starting range for this position is $39.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors such as experience and education.


Qualifications :

 

  • Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician preferably within a hotel or property management environment 

  • High school diploma or equivalent Technical school desired

  • Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment

  • Need to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts materials and necessary tools

  • Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Engineer Manager.

  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels

  • Ability to communicate in English with guests co-workers and management

  • Valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred

  • Experience with GSuite

  • Prior hospitality experience
