You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJoin the Stanly Ranch team as our Engineering Supervisor a role that will allow you to lead and train engineering team members in all technical and non-technical areas. This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Guide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.
Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members guests and vendors.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems laundry equipment kitchen equipment water and wastewater carpentry tile plumbing painting and minor automotive repairs.
Assume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence.
Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system water system sewage system and irrigation system
Respond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner
Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations
Follow established safety procedures
Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs
The starting range for this position is $39.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors such as experience and education.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician preferably within a hotel or property management environment
High school diploma or equivalent Technical school desired
Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment
Need to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts materials and necessary tools
Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Engineer Manager.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels
Ability to communicate in English with guests co-workers and management
Valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred
Experience with GSuite
Prior hospitality experience
