Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides technical coordination and client liaison in the implementation of major and minor hospital campus access control video equipment/cameras and security upgrade projects.
- Creates customer security solutions in accordance with existing access control policies and protocols ensuring the continued integrity of the Emory Healthcares access control and video equipment program.
- Provides technical guidance oversight and leadership to lower level technical staff and contractors on a project basis.
- Coordinates technical security systems trains personnel provides technical support and coordinates security and life safety system requirements with departments.
- Coordinate installs of access security devices for newly constructed or renovated facilities adapting current access control systems and protocols.
- Oversees and coordinates the activities of sub-contractors in the completion of hospital and whole-department scale projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or Associates Degree and 5 years of experience working with electronic security system software installation operations maintenance and management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security camera systems card access systems and intrusion alarm systems; comprehensive knowledge or skills in the installation operation and maintenance of security systems; knowledge of the evaluation of construction blueprints; familiar with network and local digital video recorders.
- A valid Georgia driverÂs license and an insurable driving record are required.
