The opportunity

Were seeking two Animal Technicians to join the Small Animal Facility team at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness (ACDP) in Geelong.

This hands-on role supports vital research into zoonotic diseases within high-containment environments (PC1PC4). Youll be responsible for animal husbandry sample collection data recording and promoting animal welfare in collaboration with scientists and veterinarians.

Weekend and occasional shift work may be required. Security clearance health checks and vaccinations are mandatory.

Your high-level duties will include:

Salary: AU$73567 to AU$93630 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus 15.4% superannuation
Tenure & work schedule: Indefinite; weekend work on roster basis; occasional shift work
