Job Summary

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist School Setting (Contract)

Location: Thornton CO

Contract Duration:28 Week

Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:00 PM MondayFriday

Hours: 40 per week

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team on a contract basis. The SLP will provide speech and language services to students helping to identify assess and treat communication disorders while supporting academic success and personal development.

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech language and communication disorders.
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
Document assessments therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Educate staff and families on strategies to support students speech and language development.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
Current Colorado SLP license or eligibility.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.

Schedule & Compensation:

Contract Length:28 weeks (with possibility of extension).
Shift: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM.
Hours per Week: 40.
