Job Description

Special Education 1:1 paraprofessional to work with a Kindergarten student with intensive needs in our GROW program - a substantially separate program for students with intellectual and developmental work well as a team and bring a positive energy to the job each day. Must be comfortable with supporting daily life tasks including toileting and DUTIES: Actively participate in the educational program and help in classroom management lesson planning and recording of student data as requested. Facilitate students travel from classroom activities and appointments by giving specific directions and monitoring independent travel. Participate in staff and /or unit meetings as appropriate. This position will require supporting students 1:1 Monitor all activities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and inform the teacher of any problems conflicts and/or issues. Work cooperatively with the team including school administrators teachers and related service providers to ensure that program activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner. Actively participate in program and professional development activities in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Work with students to implement program goals
