Job Summary
CareGivers Inc. is an Indiana-based privately owned home health care agency that was founded in 1990 by two women with more than 50 years of combined health care experience and a dedication to patient dignity and independence. All of our staff are licensed certified and insured professionals who share this commitment through a variety of services available 24/7 or for just a few hours a week.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This rewarding position allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of others by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients including bathing grooming and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Follow all HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
Skills:
- Experience in hospice care caregiving or home care is preferred
- Ability to clean and maintain a safe environment for clients
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients families and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide quality care with empathy
