Job Summary

Waste Connections is looking to hire aLocal Garbage Truck Driverat our site in San Antonio TX. The position will be responsible for driving a Residential Garbage Truck with another driver on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. This job is extremely physical taking turns working on the back of the garbage truck. You will be on a driver/driver team.

Monday-Friday 6 am start time typically working a 10 hour day. Because of all the OT are drivers make at least $62000 their first year. We also offer family benefits 401k and paid time off.

Job Requirements:

Class A or B CDL
Clean Driving Record
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10 hour shift.
