We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Tech to join our Wellington KS shot peening facility!
As our Maintenance Repair Tech you will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure machines are running at optimal performance. This is a great role for an individual with some maintenance and fabrication (welding) experience who wishes to expand their knowledge particularly in preventative maintenance.
Location: Wellington KS
Shift: Monday-Friday first shift
Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hour

Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Follow instructions and read blueprints.
Safely work at heights.
Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
Plan work and solve problems.

Perform a variety of duties which may change often; and operate machinery.
Repair pumps large conveying augers dust collectors blast rooms.
Assemble machinery and bolts welds rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
May operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWhat You Bring:
Experience constructing and /or repairing industrial machines
Experience aligning machines and equipment using hoists jacks hand tools squares rules micrometers lasers and plumb bobs.
Experience repairing and lubricating machinery and equipment.
Basic Electrical knowledge and machine trouble shooting skills.
Welding experience.
2 years of maintenance experience
