Job Description:
CMR Construction & Roofing is seeking an experienced Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) Framing Superintendent to oversee all on-site framing operations for our commercial and multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and motivated leader with deep knowledge of CFS framing systems safety protocols and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site cold-formed steel framing activities from mobilization to project completion.
- Supervise and train field personnel and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely on schedule and within budget.
- Interpret and enforce project specifications blueprints and local building codes.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily reports logs and other construction-related documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate material deliveries equipment and inspections.
- Communicate proactively with project managers clients architects and engineers to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
- Oversee the project punch list and final project close-out.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman with specific expertise in cold-formed steel framing.
- Strong understanding of CFS wall systems floor joists roof trusses and other related components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification (or ability to obtain) and a strong commitment to job site safety.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g. Procore Builder trend) is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to job sites for up to 4 weeks at a time
