DescriptionManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client a leading Greek organization in the Petroleum sector is seeking an HSE Chemical Engineer for its Health Safety Environment Sustainability & Quality Department.
Location: Marousi
Report to: HSE Manager
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the implementation program and evaluate fuel quality control results ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and assess chemical analyses of fuels to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance; record and investigate quality-related incidents.
- Represent the company (as Independent Chemist) before the General Chemical State Laboratory and collaborate with the Legal Services Department on matters concerning fuel quality.
- Provide technical support to industrial customers regarding product quality specifications and applications.
- Collaborate with internal departments to implement best practices in Fuel Quality Management.
- Support internal and external audits related to fuel quality and safety.
Requirements - Degree in Chemical Engineering (Polytechnic School)
- 24 years of experience (fuel quality control monitoring chemical analyses technical support to industrial clients)
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation and fuel specifications
- Strong data analysis and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Good command of the English language
- Professional license to practice (registered with the Technical Chamber of Greece TEE)
