About the job
As an integral member of our team you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing equipment and processes within our Service Center. You will have the opportunity to perform preventative and corrective maintenance troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Currently this is an on-site opportunity located in Houston - Greenspoint.
As a part of the team you will:
Perform general maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment including lathes milling machines pumps filters and forklifts
Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules using PM software
Collaborate with plant operators and OEMs to improve equipment uptime and efficiency
Maintain documentation for maintenance activities and waste handling
Support safety initiatives and participate in ALPS and PRP processes
Train on and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

What you know
You have an Associate degree Trade School certification or 5 years of relevant experience and:
Minimum 3 years of electrical and mechanical experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Familiarity with automation technologies such as cranes motors pumps and PLC-operated equipment
Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams blueprints and technical manuals
Basic computer skills including MS Office and experience with PLC displays (coding not required)
You demonstrate key behaviors such as a strong concern for excellence a customer service orientation the ability to build and maintain relationships flexibility in adapting to change and a collaborative spirit rooted in teamwork.
