Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse LTAC ICU (Contract)
Location: Columbia SC
Contract Duration:13 Week
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3 shifts per week (12 hrs each)
Hours: 36 per week
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LTAC ICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team on a contract basis. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a long-term acute care (LTAC) intensive care unit managing complex cases and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
Monitor and manage ventilators IV lines and other advanced medical equipment.
Administer medications fluids and treatments according to physician orders.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
Follow hospital protocols for infection control patient safety and ICU best practices.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina (required).
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications required; critical care certification (CCRN) preferred.
Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-acuity and fast-paced environments.
Schedule & Compensation:
Contract Length:13 weeks (with possible extension).
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3 shifts per week.
Hours per Week: 36.
