Job Duties

  • Perform daily inspections of presses hoist lift attachments lasers and support equipment.
  • Set-up and operate presses lasers and support equipment to produce parts to print specifications.
  • Have the ability to perform advanced set-ups of presses.
  • Act as a go to person for the press operator support personnel.
  • Ability to rotate among multiple stations.
  • Inspect parts per print specifications.
  • Help train and assist new operators.
  • Effectively communicate to management any production issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reading and writing skills communication skills basic math (including fractions metrics and decimals) remember reason analyze and problem solve.
  • Per 8-12 hr. shift (stand up to 9 hrs. walk up to 3 hrs.) frequently (balance push/pull twist bend squat) occasionally (reach above shoulder level). Frequent lifting and carrying (frequently from 0 to 49 lbs. occasionally from 50 to 100 lbs. with the help of another person or lifting device). Must be able to see hear have good binocular vision distinguish colors do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to work in a noisy environment that includes exposure to heat dust solvents oil weld flash and grinding debris. Must be able to safely work in areas of lift truck traffic. Must be a certified hoist operator.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to read blueprints and precision measuring devices. Some knowledge of robot controls. Related work experience preferred.

Earn an additional $1.50/hour for working 3rd shift (4/10 work schedule) or an additional $5.00/hour for working weekend shift (3/12 work schedule).
