Job Description
- Provide direct instruction across academic behavioral and functional domains.
- Foster a classroom culture that promotes independence respect and confidence.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and data-driven decision-making to guide interventions.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals therapists and families to ensure consistent and supportive learning experiences.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each students unique learning goals.
Requirements
- Strong communication organizational and teamwork skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Prior experience in a self-contained or specialized classroom is preferred.
