Job Summary

A fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne is searching for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their firm as a key addition with increasing responsibility and career development on offer as part of this successful team.

The role would include:

Assisting with audits including planning and field work.
General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
Preparation of management accounts.
Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA
A practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice
A knowledge of various software packages
Strong communication and team working skills
Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred

Required Skills:

ACA/ACCA studying or qualified by experience Experience in audit fieldwork or potentially planning audits. Client-facing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
