Location: Various locations across Alberta

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides mental health care including assessment diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. They work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
Develop and manage treatment plans including medication management.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling as needed.

Document patient care and progress accurately.

Requirements

Masters degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health; board certification as a PMHNP required.
Valid nursing license and prescriptive authority.
Strong clinical skills and patient-centered focus.
