Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Consultant to lead and execute integration projects using MuleSofts Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs design scalable integration solutions and implement MuleSoft-based integrations that deliver efficiency and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze integration requirements.
Conduct workshops and meetings to assess business processes and design integration strategies.
Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on MuleSoft integration solutions.

2. Solution Design

Develop comprehensive integration architecture and design documentation.
Design scalable maintainable MuleSoft integration solutions following best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless implementation.

3. Implementation

Lead development and configuration of MuleSoft integrations.
Write custom code as needed and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during development and testing.

4. Quality Assurance

Conduct thorough testing to ensure functional and performance requirements are met.
Collaborate with QA teams to implement comprehensive test plans.

5. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Create and maintain detailed documentation including design specs deployment guides and user manuals.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams.

6. Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with MuleSoft platform releases industry trends and best practices.
Propose and implement improvements to existing integration processes.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
4 years of experience as an Integration Consultant with a focus on MuleSoft.
MuleSoft certifications preferred.
Strong understanding of integration patterns API design and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in Java and familiarity with other programming languages.
Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Risk Management Compliance Business etc.); advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g. CISA CISM CRISC) preferred. Proven experience in risk management and compliance within the insurance industry with a focus on the Belgian -depth knowledge of Belgian insurance regulations and relevant European directives. Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex risk scenarios. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Experience in policy development and implementation. Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in risk and compliance.
