They are seeking a Software Tester with at least 34 years of experience in functional manual and automation testing to join their Cape Town (Century City) office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional manual and automated testing across multiple software applications.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to define test plans test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Track document and report software defects and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the software lifecycle.
- Maintain and improve testing tools processes and procedures including Selenium Jira and TestRail.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- Relevant tertiary qualification (BSc or equivalent) in Computer Science IT or related field.
- 34 years experience in software testing (manual automation and functional).
- Experience in logistics retail or supply chain systems is highly advantageous.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Practical experience with testing tools such as Selenium Jira and TestRail.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical structured approach.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and take ownership of tasks.
- Commitment to upholding high quality standards and following strict testing procedures.
- Willingness to proactively contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools.
