This is a leader in delivering industrial engineering construction and maintenance services across the heavy industry sector including mining steel energy and manufacturing. We are known for our commitment to safety technical excellence and operational reliability. Due to continued growth we are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installation maintenance and commissioning activities across our heavy industrial projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Role:
As an Electrical Foreman you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site-based electrical teams ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely on time and to specification. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations liaising with Project Managers contractors and health & safety officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations maintenance and repairs on heavy industrial sites.
  • Coordinate and manage Electricians and electrical subcontractors.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and ensure that work is completed to the design and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes standards and site safety regulations.
  • Plan daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Communicate with Engineers Project Managers and other trades on project progress.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools PPE and electrical testing equipment.
  • Complete daily reports timesheets and materials requisitions.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Electrical Trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 Red Seal or equivalent).
  • 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work with at least 2 years in a supervisory/Foreman role.
  • Proven experience in heavy industry sectors such as mining oil & gas power generation or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors MCCs control panels and PLC wiring).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership communication and team coordination skills.
