About the Role
As a Solution Architect Transport Management you will design configure and implement advanced SAP Transport Management (TM) solutions that power Fresenius Kabis global logistics operations. You will collaborate closely with supply chain teams IT experts and external logistics partners to streamline transportation processes improve operational efficiency and enable cost-effective delivery performance. This is a hands-on role where you will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation
Design and deploy SAP TM solutions tailored to Fresenius Kabis global and regional logistics requirements.
Configure and optimize transportation planning execution and freight settlement processes.
Integrate SAP TM with other SAP supply chain modules (MM SD EWM) and legacy systems.
Process Optimization
Identify and implement improvements to transportation workflows reducing costs and increasing service quality.
Collaborate with external logistics service providers to ensure seamless data exchange and process integration.
Drive standardization of TM processes across regions while respecting local compliance needs.
Collaboration & Delivery
Partner with supply chain IT and business stakeholders to align TM solutions with strategic objectives.
Participate in transformation programs as the SAP TM subject matter expert contributing your expertise to large-scale global projects.
Ensure solutions meet both operational requirements and compliance with relevant regulations.
What we are looking for
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Informatics or related field.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP TM experience including configuration and optimization.
Proven track record in transportation management methodologies and execution.
Experience integrating SAP TM with MM SD EWM and external logistics platforms.
Strong process knowledge in transportation planning and freight management.
Experience with multi-region SAP TM implementations preferred.
Political and cultural awareness with success working in global matrixed teams.
Fluent in English.
Willingness to travel as needed.
