NHW is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.
We are seeking an experienced adaptable and team oriented AHA to join our workforce in a parental leave backfill position. Our team of 12 skilled AHAs work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary model across the inpatient and community settings of NHW to support Allied Health Professionals in delivering high quality person centred interventions under the AHA Supervision & Delegation Framework. This position would provide the successful applicant with opportunities for a variety of experiences across the admitted and community settings working alongside and learning from highly skilled health professionals.
The successful applicant will demonstrate teamwork and an appreciation of multidisciplinary practice the ability to work independently within the Allied Health Assistant scope of practice and seek advice/support where required.
A Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant Qualification is vital along with demonstrated knowledge skills and experience in the provision of AHA duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an AHA who is seeking opportunities to enhance their clinical skills whilst working within a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary service.
