In this role you will provide direction and support to your team while fostering effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Youll assist in developing and achieving targets in safety quality cost delivery and employee engagement while supervising and leading with a focus on these key areas. A major responsibility will be ensuring that the preventative maintenance program is properly developed implemented and adhered to all while maintaining cost targets within budget. You will coordinate the planned work of crews to meet both maintenance and production goals ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld. Additionally youll be responsible for maintaining high standards of work performance and behavior as well as planning and implementing daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks and duties.
The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of maintenance and leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment along with at least 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are essential while knowledge of electronic-based maintenance programs would be a valuable addition prior knowledge or experience in lumber manufacturing is considered a strong advantage.
