We are recruit candidate based locally able to work full-time/part-time with at least 6 months UK based experience in a similar position

Job Types: Permanent Full-time hours: 36-40 hours per week
Salary: 12.80per hour
Care Home based in Bradford area
About the home:
Care Centre in Bradford provides a welcoming home for people who need care and support.
Trained friendly staff give people personalised care in a supportive environment.
Residents can take part in a variety of activities and have their personal interests and hobbies taken into account.
Delicious nutritious food is served and the care home can cater to specific dietary requirements.
Responsabilities include:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
- Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs e.g. physical emotional and spiritual
- Provide supervision and attention when needed ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
- Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
- Answer Nurse Call system giving assistance as required
- Answer the door and telephone appropriately
- Respond accordingly and pass on messages promptly
- Report on well-being of Residents
- Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs hearing aids spectacles etc
Requirements for the role
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group

Qualifications
- Proficiency in English language
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in care home or home care settings
- Ability to create and implement care plans
- Relevant certifications in health care assistance
