Graduate (Electrical Engineer)

The Role

Are you an aspiring electrical engineer looking to kick-start your career in a sector that really matters Join a dynamic team working on critical infrastructure projects that support clean reliable water and environmental protection across East Anglia.

Were looking for a talented Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our water industry team and help deliver electrical systems for treatment plants pumping stations control systems and smart water networks. This role offers real responsibility diverse challenges and long-term career development in one of the UKs most vital sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of electrical systems including power distribution automation and instrumentation
  • Assist with the specification and selection of electrical equipment
  • Work closely with civil mechanical and process engineering teams
  • Carry out site surveys commissioning and technical inspections
  • Support with documentation reports and health & safety compliance
  • Engage with contractors clients (e.g. Anglian Water) and supply chain partners throughout project lifecycles

Essential:

  • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BEng or MEng)
  • An interest in sustainability utilities and infrastructure
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm to work in both office and site environments

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
